NFMSS Coach Certification & Credentialing Portal
Elevating the Standard of Middle School Coaching
At the National Federation of Middle School Sports (NFMSS), we believe that middle school student-athletes deserve the highest standard of leadership, mentorship, and safety. Middle school athletics are developmentally unique—requiring coaches who are not only experts in their sport, but certified in student safety, emergency response, and age-appropriate player development.
To ensure a safe, competitive, and unified environment across all member schools, NFMSS requires all head coaches and assistant coaches to hold a valid NFMSS Coach Credential to be eligible for regular season play and NFMSS State Championship series events.
The NFMSS Compliance Standard: A certified coach on every sideline. Safe kids, protected schools, and elevated play.
